Reverend John Fairbrother

John was previously the Director of Vaughan Park Anglican Retreat and Conference Centre having held a number of senior roles within the Anglican Church including as the Dean of Waikato, 1998-2001, the Vicar of St Mark’s and Archdeacon of Wellington, 1992-1998 and Vicar of Northland/Wilton, Wellington, 1987-1992.

John has significant experience in the management of governance of education enterprises including as a Board Member of MediaCom Education Inc Adelaide Australia, the Board of Proprietors and Board of Trustees of Waikato Diocesan School for Girls. Board of Governors of St Mark’s Anglican Parish Independent School Wellington and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Cardinal McKeefry Roman Catholic School.

John is presently the Operations Manager of the Te Aute Trust Board, and works closely with Hukarere Girls' College and Te Aute College in Tairawhiti.
