The purpose of the St Stephen's and Queen Victoria Schools Trust is documented in its Trust Deed and can be summarsied as follows:



"The advancement and propagation of education for children in New Zealand, principally for girls and boys of New Zealand Māori descent but including peoples of all races and denominations, principally through the provision and management of schools and the provision and continuing development of an integrated curriculum which features foundation teaching, learning skills and excellence and blends elements of Māori concepts and Christian values with the New Zealand education curriculum".

Applications for 2020 Mihingare Secondary School Scholarships are now open.

Scholarships

The Mihingare (Anglican) Secondary School Scholarships are for Māori secondary school students  will no longer provide NEW scholarships after 2021.

 

EXISTING scholarship recipients who continue to demonstrate, leadership qualities/potential and a satisfactory educational performance will continue to be supported till the completion of their studies.

This decision was made by the Board in light of

the activities to reopen St Stepehen's in the

very near future (2023/24).
