The purpose of the St Stephen's and Queen Victoria Schools Trust is documented in its Trust Deed and can be summarsied as follows:



"The advancement and propagation of education for children in New Zealand, principally for girls and boys of New Zealand Māori descent but including peoples of all races and denominations, principally through the provision and management of schools and the provision and continuing development of an integrated curriculum which features foundation teaching, learning skills and excellence and blends elements of Māori concepts and Christian values with the New Zealand education curriculum".

Applications for 2020 Mihingare Secondary School Scholarships are now open.

Scholarships

The Mihingare (Anglican) Secondary School Scholarships are for Māori secondary school students who demonstrate financial need, leadership qualities/potential and a satisfactory educational background, and who will benefit from additional financial support for their secondary schooling. Each year, a maximum of 30 scholarships worth up to $7,500 each are offered.

Trustees are currently considering the timing and process for Mihingare Secondary School Scholarships in the 2022 year.  Please continue to monitor this page for further announcements.
